How Mobile Service Will Work

From VIN to clear glass — the planned five steps.

This is how mobile service is designed to work once ARRO opens. Your VIN will let us match the exact glass, sensors, and features your vehicle needs — so the price you see is the price you pay.

1

Submit your VIN

Share your vehicle's VIN and location. The VIN is on your dashboard, door jamb, or insurance card — it identifies the precise glass and any sensors.

2

Receive an exact quote

At launch, you'll get an all-in price — glass, labour, and GST included. No estimate ranges, no surprises on the day.

3

Confirm your appointment

Once booking opens, you'll choose a time that works and confirm your slot. We order your glass ahead of the visit.

4

We come to you

A fully-equipped service vehicle will arrive at your home, driveway, or workplace. Most installs are expected to take about 60 minutes.

5

Inspection & safe drive-away

A final quality check, then your minimum drive-away time — how long the adhesive needs to cure before it's safe to drive.

What We'll Bring

A complete shop — on wheels.

Mobile won't mean basic. ARRO's service vehicle is being equipped with the same professional-grade tools and materials used in a fixed shop.

Professional install tools

Cut-out tools, suction setting devices, and primer systems for a clean, factory-spec installation — not a rushed roadside job.

OEM-spec glass & adhesive

Your exact glass plus Sika automotive-grade urethane, the same bonding system trusted by vehicle manufacturers.

Clean, protected workspace

Interior protection, full glass cleanup, and a tidy work area — we leave your space the way we found it.

Where Mobile Service Works

Most locations work. A few don't — here's the honest list.

Auto glass adhesive needs a level vehicle, room to open the doors fully, and a dry, accessible space. Here's where mobile service is designed to work, and where it won't — so you know what to expect at launch.

LocationMobile ServiceWhy
Home drivewayWorksThe most common setup — level, private, and easy access.
GarageWorksIdeal in cold or wet weather, as long as doors can open fully inside.
Workplace parkingWorksGet it done while you work — just needs a level spot with side clearance.
Street parkingConditionalResidential streets at 50 km/h or under, with a legal spot that doesn't block traffic, in daylight and dry weather.
Underground parkadeCan'tLow ceilings and poor ventilation affect adhesive curing and safety.
Paid / public parking lotCan'tNo control over space, access, or how long we can safely occupy the spot.
Steep drivewayCan'tThe vehicle must sit level so the glass seats evenly and the seal sets right.
Unsafe weather / poor accessCan'tRain, snow, sub-zero cold, or blocked access compromise a safe, lasting install.
Not sure if your space will qualify? When mobile service opens, you'll share your location with your quote and we'll confirm before booking. If a visit ever reaches a location that turns out to be unworkable (for example, an undisclosed underground parkade), a travel fee may apply — so it'll always be worth checking first.
Diagram showing the minimum space needed for mobile auto glass replacement in Calgary — about 6 metres by 8 metres for a typical SUV, including doors fully open and a glass staging area
This shows the ideal working space. In practice, most driveways, garages, and workplace lots work fine — you rarely need the full footprint shown. The diagram is a planning reference; don't rule yourself out based on the measurements alone.
Weather & Winter Policy

Built for Calgary conditions.

Adhesive cure depends on temperature and moisture. ARRO's planned policy keeps every install safe through Calgary's seasons — including the cold ones.

Dry & mild

Ideal conditions

Driveways, lots, and open-air installs all work well. Standard scheduling, no restrictions.

Cold weather

Indoor preferred

Adhesive needs a surface temperature at or above 0°C to cure safely. In cold months a garage is recommended; if you don't have one, we'll work out the best option together.

Rain, snow or extreme cold

We reschedule

If conditions make a safe bond impossible, the plan is to move to a covered space or reschedule at no charge. ARRO won't rush a structural install.

Why the 0°C rule matters: the urethane that bonds your windshield to the vehicle frame is a structural safety component — it helps the roof hold in a rollover and lets airbags deploy correctly. Below its minimum temperature it won't cure to full strength, so ARRO holds the line on this for your safety, not convenience.
Planned Service Area

Mobile Service FAQ

Common questions about mobile service.

That is the plan. Workplace and office parking lots are expected to be one of the most common locations ARRO serves once mobile service opens — as long as there is a legal, level parking spot with about two metres of clear space on each side of the vehicle. ARRO is not booking appointments yet; join early access to be notified at launch.
At launch, someone will need to provide access at the start (keys and an unlocked vehicle) and the location will need to stay accessible. You will not have to stand with the vehicle the whole time. Exact arrangements will be confirmed when booking opens.
Auto glass adhesive needs dry conditions and a surface temperature at or above 0°C to cure safely. Once ARRO is operating, if rain, snow, or extreme cold makes a safe install impossible, the plan is to move to a covered location or reschedule at no charge. ARRO will never rush an install in unsafe conditions.
ARRO is not quoting prices yet. The intent is all-in pricing shown before any booking, with standard Calgary mobile service included and any travel or weekend fee disclosed upfront — never added afterward. Pricing details will be shared with early access customers ahead of launch.
